Karlie Kloss

Cara Delevigne

British Vogue  have announced earlier this week that they would leave it to their loyal online followers to decide which one of these models a la mode would grace its cover later this year. WIth both girls turning 20 this summer and already familiar first faces at fashion weeks on both sides of the pond, Its a tough call to say who will stand victorious on our newstands.

In the Brit Corner, Cara Delevigne has not only kissed Eddie Redmayne and fronted multiple Burberry Campaigns, but has also been pinpointed by Editor Alexandra Shulman as ‘The model of the moment’. Her statement brows, unruly blonde tresses and eclectic streetstyle as well as her boundless energy for the industry has made her a favourite with photographers and industry insiders. Cara is the kind of girl who took a pair of sissors to her Met Ball dress, throws together Bailey’s finest with high-tops and McQueen knuckle-dusters. She bangs the drums and looks fabulous doing it, revealing in interviews her aspiratons in both acting and music.

The Chicago born Karlie Kloss has walked for a list of designers longer then her enviable legs. The face of a Marc Jacobs campaign at just 16,  Kloss has soared to one of the most in demand faces in the industry. Trained in classical ballet from a young age, Kloss’s poised physique and command of her body is praised by designers and photogaphers alike. Lke the famed enthusiam of her contender Cara, Interviewers have noted Karlie’s excitement for the glamour and opportunites of her career, she tells the camera “life’s too casual these days”, and sees each show as playing “dress up” assuming new characters and harking back to other eras of decadence.
